How to Opt Out of Interest-Based Advertising
We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can also use available online tools, such as the WebChoices platform, to set opt outs for multiple companies at once. Other resources include the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).
These opt outs are usually device and browser specific, so you should opt out on each device and browser you use. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings and enable a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor where required by law.
Shine the Light Disclosure
California's "Shine the Light" law allows residents to request information about how we share certain categories of personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
If you are a California resident and would like more information or assistance regarding our policies under the CCPA, please contact us by emailing california-privacy@telea.io.
Protected Health Information
Health information you submit through a clinic-branded intake or patient portal is handled under HIPAA and the agreement between Telea and that clinic or medical group, not under the CCPA's sale and sharing framework. We never transmit protected health information to advertising platforms. To exercise a right over your medical record, contact the clinic that provided your care, or email privacy@telea.io and we will route your request.
